Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. the new playground is great! the theme is super cute and there is a lot for kids to do. i'd say especially ages 3-8. i also like that the swings are low enough for a child to get on them by themselves then the splash pad is right there for round two of playing. i just hope they add some shade to the picnic tables that are in between the playground and splash pad.

Nice little splash pad with plenty of shaded picnic table seating for parents. The water stops about every 15 minutes so you need to press the button to start it again. Bathroom was not great but at least functional. They took down the playground, not sure if they'll rebuild another one. Staff were on site the morning we went and were cleaning up trash. Seemed like a nice area for waking dogs around the exterior of the park

So much fun! We brought our 15mo to check out the splash pad due to the heat. We were not disappointed. Our daughter had a great time and loved running around the water features. There were a few other families enjoying the park and hanging out at the covered patio. Park was clean and easy to find. Parking lot is a little rough to drive into as itβs not paved.

My kids had a great time here at Hathaway ποΈ Park. Love the shelter nearby. Needs more water and regular maintenance to make sure each element works. Great for smaller kids up to age 6 or 8. The playground itself has great climbing apparatus, multiple slides, and looks like a castle. Because of the splash pad the mulch and structure can become wet and slippery in summer. There is also βΏ handicap accessible parking nearby.
